Parking Attendants (Non-Driving)Pay Rate: $12.00 - $17.00 Per HourJob Type: Part-timeLocation: Columbia, South CarolinaShift & Schedule: Evenings, Weekends & HolidayApplications will be accepted until job is closed.Propark Mobility is currently hiring Parking Attendants for part-time opportunities to start immediately.Job Summary: We are seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Parking Attendant / Garage Attendant. This role supports operations across both parking garages and surface parking lots, ensuring efficient traffic flow, cleanliness, and excellent customer service. Employees will maintain a 750-space permit-only garage with three keycard-activated entrances, as well as assist with general parking lot operations and enforcement.What We're Looking For:Direct patrons to appropriate parking areas in garages and surface lotsIssue tickets and accurately record required transaction informationProcess exception transactions (lost tickets, grace periods, etc.) according to company policyMonitor and enforce permit-only parking areasComplete daily shift reports, including tracking vehicle counts, transactions, validations, and lot activityProvide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, resolving issues, and maintaining a professional appearanceAssist customers experiencing difficulty with keycard access, gate entry/exit, or lot-related concernsTroubleshoot minor gate or access control issues and report larger malfunctionsMaintain cleanliness of garages and parking lots, including picking up trash, sweeping entranceways, and emptying trash receptaclesPerform routine inspections of all entrances, exits, and parking areasComplete minor cleaning and maintenance tasks as assignedSupport additional tasks or special projects as directed by managementPerform other duties as assigned based on operational needsWhat's In It For You:We promote from within - park your career here!Free Parking!Flexible scheduling;Free and confidential employee assistance program (EAP) that provides support and resources to employees and their families 24/7(FT Employees) Paid vacation and an extra day-off on your birthday!!(FT Employees) Benefits Package - including medical, dental, vision, and 8 supplemental insurances, including pet insurance!Must Haves:You are at least 18 years old.High School degree preferred but not required.Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.Available Mornings, Evenings, WeekendsGood To Haves:Customer service: 1 year+Physical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands of this position and the work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position.
