Tax Senior Manager - National Tax (Partnership Compliance & Consulting) | Remote

Our client, a Top 15 national CPA firm, is seeking a Fully Remote Tax Senior Manager to join its National Tax Team . This is a unique opportunity for an experienced tax professional to work on complex partnership tax compliance and consulting matters while collaborating with tax professionals across a nationwide platform.

Location: Fully Remote (candidates within reasonable proximity to one of the firm's office locations are preferred for occasional meetings, training, and team events)

Key Responsibilities

• Review complex partnership and corporate tax returns for accuracy and technical compliance.
\n
• Research federal and state tax issues impacting clients and engagement teams.
\n
• Analyze complex tax matters utilizing the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, and other tax authorities.
\n
• Prepare and review technical tax memoranda and written guidance.
\n
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for tax professionals and clients.
\n
• Identify opportunities to provide value-added tax consulting services.
\n
• Support proposal development and business development initiatives.
\n
• Mentor, develop, and evaluate tax professionals.
\n
• Contribute to technical training programs, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives.
\n
• Partner with firm leadership to drive innovation and best practices across the tax practice.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 8+ years of public accounting tax experience.
\n
• Strong background in Partnership Taxation required.
\n
• Active CPA license required.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field.
\n
• Strong tax research and technical writing experience.
\n
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client engagements.
\n
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
\n
• Corporate tax experience is a plus.
\n

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess deep partnership tax expertise and enjoy working in a highly consultative environment. Experience serving real estate clients is highly desirable, although professionals from other industries with significant partnership tax exposure will also be considered.
